The Retirement Guys Network has teamed up with a local organization to give a single mother and her two girls the most joyful Christmas possible. The entire staff purchased over thirty gifts for the deserving family. They felt that it was a great way to “pay it forward” to others in the Toledo area. The Retirement Guys adopted their family in need through the assistance of a local outreach program called the Miracle CHRISTmas network.
“Both Mark and I feel very blessed to be able to purchase for our own families, so what better way than to get into the spirit of Christmas by purchasing gifts for a family who has been hit hard by these tough financial times,” said Nolan Baker, Chief Financial Officer of The Retirement Guys Network and an Investment Advisor Representative with NEXT Financial Group, Inc., member FINRA/SIPC. Co-owner and attorney-at-law Mark Clair said, “My family and I have participating in the Miracle CHRISTmas network for several years now. It is great to have both my personal family and work family giving back to such an outstanding organization.” Mark goes on to say that “there is no better way to kick off the Christmas holiday than watching your adopted family’s faces light up as they open up all their gifts at the Miracle CHRISTmas luncheon held every year on Christmas Eve. It envelops the true purpose of celebrating the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ.”
According to www.miracleCHRISTmas.com , the Miracle CHRISTmas program was founded to remember the life of Joan Meyer who succumbed to kidney cancer at the early age of 56. The program is a Christian-based non-profit organization established by Joni Meyer and her husband, Jamie Crothers. This will be the thirteenth year that Joan’s Miracle CHRISTmas will bless 9 families in the local Toledo area. Joni and Jamie, with the help of hundreds of volunteers, have touched over 400 children’s lives in the past decade.
